About the Event
Run the roof of the Silk Route! The Gnathang Valley Vibrant Village Marathon returns on 1 November 2026 - a high-altitude destination marathon at over 12,000 ft in East Sikkim, run with the local community under the Vibrant Villages spirit. Categories: 42K Full Marathon (Male Only), 21K Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.

High-altitude valley course through Gnathang and the Silk Route landscape. 42K category is open to male participants only; 21K, 10K and 5K are open to all.

Rules & Regulations
- 01 Participants must carry a valid photo ID on race day.
- 02 The 42K category is open to male participants only.
- 03 Bib numbers are non-transferable.
- 04 Follow instructions of race officials and volunteers at all times.
- 05 Littering on the route is strictly prohibited.
