About the Event
Run through the edge of the world's largest mangrove forest. The Sundarban Tiger Marathon combines a professionally timed race with the raw beauty of the Sundarban delta — creeks, mudflats, village trails and the call of the wild.

About the Destination
The Sundarbans - the world's largest mangrove forest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site - spreads across the delta of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna. Jharkhali, the race base, sits at the edge of the tiger reserve: expect boat safaris through mangrove creeks, watchtowers, village walks and the legendary honey-collector culture of the delta.
Route & Elevation
Flat, scenic route through Jharkhali island village roads and embankments overlooking the mangrove forest. Timed categories on closed roads with full volunteer support.
