About the Event
Run for a greener, cleaner future! The Vanghmun Cleanest Village Half Marathon returns on 6 December 2026 with a mission: awareness for Clean Green Vanghmun, Say No To Plastic and Say No To Drugs. Race through the cleanest village of Tripura on a 10.5 KM loop - 21K, 10K and 5K categories.
About the Destination
Vanghmun, perched in the Jampui Hills of North Tripura, is celebrated as the cleanest village of Tripura - a model community where every household maintains the village's spotless lanes, flower-lined paths and bamboo groves. Home to a warm Mizo community, the village is famous for its orange orchards (the winter Jampui orange harvest), ridge-top viewpoints above a rolling sea of clouds, and a community-led way of life that inspires the event's mission: Clean Green Vanghmun, Say No To Plastic, Say No To Drugs. Around the run: watch sunrise from the Jampui ridge viewpoints, walk the orange orchards, hike towards Betlingchhip - Tripura's highest peak - and explore nearby villages like Phuldungsei. December is orange season: crisp air, clear skies and the hills at their greenest.

Community-run homestays and guest houses in Vanghmun and across the Jampui Hills; booking support is shared with registered participants.
By air/rail: Agartala (approx. 190 km). By road: Agartala - Dharmanagar - Kanchanpur - Jampui Hills - Vanghmun; shared sumos run from Dharmanagar and Kanchanpur. Nearest railhead: Dharmanagar. Drive time from Agartala is roughly 6-7 hours through scenic hill roads.

- 03 Follow instructions of race officials and volunteers at all times.
- 04 Littering on the route is strictly prohibited.
